The European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) addresses the issue of elderly care in a dedicated workshop called CARE Campus<\/strong> on May 25th<\/sup> and 26th<\/sup> 2016 in Strasbourg, France.<\/p>\n

EIT: developing and promoting European innovation<\/span><\/h2>\n

The EIT is and independent organization of the European Union created in 2008 to support innovation and research throughout Europe. EIT favors partnerships between European companies, universities and research labs.<\/p>\n

To address as many societal challenges as possible, the EIT is divided in several Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KIC). One of those KICs focuses on health: the EIT Health.<\/strong>
\nAmong others health issues, the EIT Health address active ageing in Europe. Actors of the Health field and Silver Economy<\/strong> are invited to present innovative solutions to ageing issues during a two day CARE Campus workshop in Strasbourg, starting May 25th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

CARE Campus workshop: innovative solutions to ageing<\/span><\/h2>\n

Europe is bound to face a quick ageing of its population in the upcoming years. This demographic change is followed by a natural increasing demand for elderly care.
\n\"Aidant<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, this ever-increasing demand for care meets a constantly decreasing supply of caregivers, especially elder caregivers who are now caring for their elderly parents.<\/p>\n

The EIT Health sees its CARE \u00ab\u00a0Caregiving and Ageing Reimagined for Europe<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb Campus Workshop as an opportunity to prepare health professionals to the challenges to come, especially regarding ageing and home care support<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The two day workshop aims to educate all actors of healthcare and Silver Economy on every type of care: from new homecare technology to the more common nursing homes.<\/p>\n

Hakisa is pleased to take part of the CARE Campus Workshop on May 25th 2016 at the H\u00f4tel du d\u00e9partement<\/em> in Strasbourg. Hakisa believes that technology can and will improve homecare for the elderly. Thus, Hakisa presents Smart Care solution<\/a> during the workshop, a solution for Silver Economy and healthcare professionals.<\/p>\n
