In 2010 imports and exports between the cross-border countries represented more than 150 billion euros.<\/p>\n<p>Thousands of French and German companies are established across the border. As of today, there are over <strong>3,000 German companies established in France<\/strong> and over <strong>2,000 French companies established in Germany<\/strong>. Those companies represent a workforce of over 300,000 employees in France and 250,000 in Germany.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-851\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hakisa.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2015\/10\/french-german-flags.jpg\" alt=\"French and German Flags\" width=\"952\" height=\"768\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hakisa.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2015\/10\/french-german-flags.jpg 952w, https:\/\/www.hakisa.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2015\/10\/french-german-flags-300x242.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.hakisa.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2015\/10\/french-german-flags-768x620.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 952px) 100vw, 952px\" \/><br \/>\nThe French-German Chamber of Commerce wants to reward and promote cooperation initiatives between both countries:<\/p>\n<p>Thus, every two years since 2011, the <strong>French-German Economy Award<\/strong> rewards French-German partnerships in the following categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Environment &amp; Climat<\/li>\n<li>Innovation &amp; New technologies<\/li>\n<li>Industrial cooperation<\/li>\n<li>Human resources<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #ff7813\">Hakisa: nominee in the new category of the French-German Economy Award<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In the past editions, the French-German Chamber of Commerce <strong>rewarded partnerships between large industrial groups<\/strong> such as Atos and Siemens or Renault and Daimler. This year, the <strong>new \u201cstart-up\u201d category<\/strong> highlights the cross-border opportunities for young and innovative companies.<\/p>\n<p>This new startup category has two nominees for the 2015 award:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Captain Train<\/strong>: for its activity in France and Germany and the\u00a0partnership with the French company SNCF and the German company DB<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hakisa<\/strong>: for the\u00a0partnership with the German Hager\u00a0Group<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hakisa.com\/\">Hakisa<\/a> team is honored\u00a0to be one of the finalists of the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> French-German Economy award.
